WHAT DOES MOMOTC (STATE) DO? MOMOTC prints a booklet, Twincerely Yours, with tons of terrific reading materials on multiples. MOMOTC’s Catherine Stuart Memorial Fund, supported by donations from member clubs, is given each year to a worthy cause. Recipients are selected from submissions by member clubs. MOMOTC’s Cathy Vanneste Memorial Award, supported by the Vanneste Family to promote individual creative acts aimed at supporting and helping Mothers of Multiples deal with joys and struggles that come with raising multiple blessings. Winning member club receives the monetary award. MOMOTC holds several events each year offering networking opportunities and entertainment to members with other parents of multiples. MOMOTC publishes a quarterly newsletter, Multiple News & Views, which is sent to all members of member clubs. MOMOTC publishes an annual yearbook, which gives updated information about member clubs around the state. Published every October. MOMOTC’s database of information from the Multiple Birth Data Form is available for club members looking for other parents facing similar special situations. MOMOTC conducts surveys on multiple-related issues and results are published in Multiple News & Views. MOMOTC officers and chairs have usually served in leadership positions in their own local clubs and are happy to give advice to your club. MOMOTC officers cannot tell local clubs how to operate-each club sets its own rules and bylaws. MOMOTC’s parliamentarian will be glad to help each member club with bylaw questions. MOMOTC is a good source of support and networking between clubs, about concerns that are common to us all.
