Organization Profile

The Michigan Organization of Mothers of Twins Clubs (MOMOTC) is a proud member of NOMOTC. We maintain this web site to aid our local member chapters in their club operations. Our organization is made up of representatives from your local clubs. These representatives and elected officials share their time and talents in hopes of offering your local club added insight, guidance, and support. We hope you find this site to be a valuable tool.

The National Organization of Mothers of Twins Clubs (NOMOTC) is a network of more than 420 local clubs representing over 25,000 families of multiples across the United States. Most clubs meet monthly to discuss the care and development of multiple birth children, as well as other topics of interest. Clothing and equipment exchanges and club libraries are another big benefit of joining a local club. NOMOTC was founded in 1960 for the purpose of promoting the special aspects of child development which relate specifically to multiple birth children.

NOMOTC's goal is to improve public awareness of the needs of multiple birth children by fostering development of local support groups, enhancing the quality of educational materials available to parents, educators and others and by cooperating with and participating in research projects which involve twins and/or their families.
